Who's behind this

I'm J. Timothy Baldwin. I've spent thirty years in trucking and logistics operations — pipelines, schedules, and the discipline of systems that can't be allowed to fail. I brought all of it to fiction.

I write the Blood & Steel saga, including Wilted Crowns, under the pen name JT Baldwin, and the Road Tested series of trucking industry guides as J. Baldwin. Tool, Not Author is the bridge between those two lives: the operational thinking I carried into the writing, and the system that came out of it.

The disclosure statement on the copyright page of every novel I publish says it best:

AI has been an integral part of the process in developing this project. The origin, ideas, plot, characters, and world all belong to me. AI is the tool. I am the architect.

This site is where that system stays current — the stack, the prompts, and the tracker, maintained as the landscape changes.
